North Lakeland Bucks Hockey

The North Lakeland Bucks offer a one-of-a-kind outdoor hockey experience, staying true to the roots of the game as one of the last remaining outdoor programs in Wisconsin. Completely free and co-ed, we provide a fun, inclusive, and community-supported environment where kids can build skills, character, and a lifelong love of hockey.

Ages

In the 2025-26 season, we will be offering programs for birth years 2015-2023.

When

Seasons run from mid October until early March for older players and early December through early March for our younger players.

Where

Practices are held at our ice rink by the school and most games are held within our local region.

Practices

Practices are typically on Mondays, Tuesdays and/or Thursdays depending on their age bracket once we have ice. We will hold practices on weekends before we have ice at Ironwood and/or Lakeland for older divisions.

USA Hockey Registration

Prior to registration, all players must register with USA each season.

Welcome to the 2025-26 North Lakeland Bucks hockey season!

Our organization is 100% free, including gear and fee reimbursement!

Note: You will need your player's USA Hockey # before you are able to register. A sign up link can be found on the left side under USA Hockey Registration.

This year we accepting all ages ranging from 2015-2023 birth years. Players will be placed in the appropriate bracket based upon their age.

1. Squirt - 2015-2016
2. Mite - 2017-2018
3. Mini-Mite - 2019-2020
4. Learn to Play - 2021-2023

We will provide more information closer to the start of the season.
